Photo Restorations

Having been in the photo business for over 35 years, Lazer Photos & Cameras understands how important photographs are to you. They capture those special, once-in-a-lifetime moments, for you and your family to treasure for years. However, they can also be very delicate, and can easily succumb to light, mould, and water damage. That's why we are proud to offer photographic restoration and retouching services.

How does it work? We take a high-resolution scan of your original photographs on our flatbed scanner. Our experienced technicians will then digitally re-touch your photos using our suite of industry-standard tools. Once completed, you will be able to order prints of your restored photo, with your originals safely returned to you.

If you need a photo to be retouched – whether it be removing or adding a person, or changing the background – we can gladly do that as well. Just pop in-store and we can discuss your options.

Here's a few things to keep in mind about our restoration services:

• Because every photo is unique, bring your photo(s) in to our store for a free, no-obligations quote. We cannot assess photos or provide quotes via phone or email.
• Because we understand that your original photographs are one-offs, we do all of our work on the digital scans – we do not alter your originals. This way, you can order prints at a different size to your original photographs.
• Please ensure you allow enough time for us to complete your restoration or retouching work. The time it will take to restore your photo(s) will vary, depending on the amount of work required, and other jobs we have in the queue. If you have a specific deadline in mind, bringing your photos in early will allow us the best chance of restoring your photos in time. We cannot offer same-day service for restorations.
