Lazer Photos & Cameras has been a longstanding presence in the beautiful coastal town of Whakatāne, and has been situated in the iconic Parklane Arcade since 1987. The Lazer team have always prided themselves on providing excellent service, as well as bringing leading-edge technological developments to our small-town community. For instance, we were one of the first photo shops in the country to have a digital photo lab printer!

The store's passionate team comprises of locals who live and breathe photography, who always enjoy the opportunity to pass on their knowledge and expertise to others. Kendan has been the managing director of Lazer Photos & Cameras since 2014, and has worked at the store since 2006. Having witnessed the industry's rapid evolution in the digital era, he has constantly sought to keep the business forward-looking, and ensure that it keeps photographers well-equipped for the future. He is assisted by a dedicated team of members with a breadth of experience in photographic restoration, film photography, and more.
