Online card payments are processed through Stripe. Payment must be received in full and verified before an order can be shipped, ordered from a supplier (for special order items), or collected. Credit card processing fees may apply.

If we are unable to verify the details of an order, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse the order. In such cases, any payment received will be refunded using the original payment method. Additionally, we reserve the right to limit or refuse orders where multiple orders are placed using the same payment method, email address, customer account, IP address, or delivery address and, in our reasonable opinion, the activity indicates potential fraud or an attempt to circumvent our policies.
Orders suspected of fraud, unauthorised payment use, or suspicious activity may be declined without notice.
When collecting a click & collect order from our store, we reserve the right to ask for identification. If another person is to collect the order on your behalf, you must inform us. We reserve the right to refuse to hand over a click & collect order if we cannot ascertain the identity of the person collecting the order.

All products listed on our website are subject to availability. In some cases, products may become unavailable or discontinued by the manufacturer or supplier without notice.
If we are unable to supply a product you have ordered, we will contact you to offer an alternative product, provide an updated delivery timeframe, or issue a full refund.
Some products sold by Lazer Photos & Cameras are covered by manufacturer warranties. Where applicable, warranty claims may need to be handled directly with the manufacturer or their authorised service agents. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Once an order has been dispatched or collected by the courier, we cannot amend delivery details or the order. Ownership and risk in goods passes to the customer once the goods have been delivered to the address provided at checkout, subject to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Orders for school photos can be placed online (via our website) or with the envelopes distributed by the school prior to school photo day. When ordering school photos:

The following terms apply to passport & ID photos taken by us.
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, we take no responsibility for photos that do not meet application requirements if you fail to provide accurate information or follow staff instructions.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure your ID photo meets the official requirements for the document specified at the time of capture. However, acceptance of ID photos is at the sole discretion of the issuing authority, including any automated or biometric assessment processes used by the issuing authority, and requirements may change without notice. If your photo is rejected by the relevant authority due to a fault attributable to us, we will either:
Due to the nature of photographing infants and young children, we do not guarantee that a compliant image can be captured in a single session.
The following terms apply when submitting images, film, or digital files for printing, processing, or reproduction.
You are responsible for ensuring that any images, documents, or digital files supplied to Lazer Photos & Cameras are of suitable quality and resolution for the intended print size or product.
Image quality may be affected by factors including (but not limited to):
While we may provide general guidance where possible, we do not inspect every file for image quality prior to printing and are not responsible for prints that appear blurry, pixelated, grainy, distorted, incorrectly cropped, or otherwise unsatisfactory due to the quality or resolution of the files supplied by the customer.
Customers are responsible for reviewing uploaded images and ensuring they are suitable for printing before submitting an order. As a general guide, we recommend that images have a resolution equivalent to at least 300 DPI at the intended print size for best results.
Please note that printed products may be cropped slightly to fit the target print size or aspect ratio.
By submitting images, film, or digital files to Lazer Photos & Cameras for printing, processing, or reproduction, you confirm that:
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, we accept no responsibility for copyright infringement arising from materials supplied by customers. We reserve the right to refuse to print or reproduce any images that we reasonably believe may infringe copyright or contain unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content. You agree to indemnify Lazer Photos & Cameras against any claims, damages, or costs resulting from the reproduction of images supplied by you.
Your enrolment in our photography courses is confirmed once full payment of the course fee has been received by us. Payment must be made seven (7) days prior to the course start date unless otherwise arranged.
Session locations will be advised prior to each session via email. Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled at our discretion due to adverse weather, tutor illness or other factors beyond our control.
If you are unable to attend a session, please contact us. We may provide course materials where possible, however missed sessions are not refundable or transferable.
You are required to bring your own camera to the course. We recommend either a DSLR or mirrorless camera. You are responsible for the care and security of your equipment at all times. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your equipment.
All participants must follow instructions given by the tutor and behave respectfully towards other attendees and their property. We reserve the right to remove any participant who is disruptive, unsafe, or abusive. No refunds will be provided in these cases.
You may cancel or transfer your enrolment up to seven (7) days prior to the course start date. Cancellations made within seven (7) days of the start date are non-refundable.
If a course is cancelled by us (for example due to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances), you may choose to receive a full refund or transfer to another course date.
If you transfer to another course and the course fee is higher, you may need to pay the difference. This difference must be paid at least seven (7) days prior to the start date of the course you transferred to.
We will make reasonable efforts to capture key moments and provide coverage of the event as agreed. However, we do not guarantee that every individual, group, or moment will be photographed.
Both photography and/or videography may take place throughout the event. This may include posed images taken in designated portrait areas as well as candid images captured around the venue. Image results may be affected by factors outside our control, including lighting, weather, venue restrictions, and the behaviour of attendees.
We will deliver images within a reasonable timeframe following the event, usually within 3 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on the size and nature of the event. Unless otherwise agreed, we may use images captured at events for promotional purposes, including on our website and social media.
If any attendee does not wish to be photographed, they should inform our photographers at the event. Requests for image removal may be made by contacting us at info@lazerphoto.co.nz, and we will respond to reasonable requests as soon as practicable. Requests should include the event name & date, and the filename(s) of the image(s).
By booking us for a school ball, prizegiving, or other school event, the School confirms that it has obtained all necessary permissions and consents from students and, where required, their parents or guardians, for photography and/or videography to take place at the event.
The School acknowledges that images may be made available in an online gallery and may be used by us for reasonable promotional and marketing purposes, including on our website and social media, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The School agrees to notify us prior to the event of any students who must not be photographed or whose images must not be published, and to provide sufficient identifying information to enable us to comply. We will make reasonable efforts to comply with any notified restrictions.
The photobooth and all associated equipment remain the property of Lazer Photos & Cameras at all times. Users must follow any instructions provided.
We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure operation of the photobooth during the hire period. However, we are not responsible for any interruptions caused by power outages, venue restrictions, misuse by users, or others factors outside our control. Additionally, we are not responsible for printing delays, print quality issues, or missed images caused by user error or technical issues outside our control.
The hirer is responsible for ensuring there is adequate space and access to power, and suitable conditions for setup and operation of the photobooth.
The hirer is responsible for any loss of or damage to the photobooth or equipment caused by misuse, neglect, or intentional damage by guests. We reserve the right to stop operation of the photobooth if we suspect the equipment is being misused or damaged, or if conditions become unsafe.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Lazer Photos & Cameras retains the copyright in all photographs and video recordings captured by us. We grant a non-exclusive licence to use the delivered images for the purpose for which they were commissioned. Images must not be sold, sublicensed, or otherwise commercially exploited by third parties without our prior written consent.
Please ensure you are ordering the correct item(s) before completing your purchase. Once an order has been dispatched or collected by the courier, it cannot be changed or cancelled.
We are not obligated to accept returns due to you changing your mind. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If we agree to accept a change-of-mind return:

If you believe a product supplied by us is faulty or does not meet the guarantees required under the CGA, please contact us.
