Pricing & payment

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Pricing is subject to change without notice. Prices are inclusive of 15% GST, unless otherwise stated.

Payments can be made through in-store payment (pick-up orders only) or credit card payment (card fees may apply). Online card payments are processed through Stripe. Payment must be made in full before your order can be shipped, ordered (if a 'special order' item, see below) or collected.

Errors & omissions

On occasion, some information on our website, social media channels, or in-store may contain errors (including typographical errors) or omissions, which we reserve the right to correct or update at any time without notice. This can include pricing, promotions, stock availability, delivery timeframes, shipping fees, and product specifications & information.

Shipping & delivery

Any timeframes we provide for delivery are an estimate only, and can be affected by public holidays and courier delays.

We do not offer delivery to addresses outside of New Zealand. You must contact us prior to ordering an item to be delivered to an island address within New Zealand (e.g. Waiheke Island, Great Barrier Island, the Chatham Islands, or Stewart Island/Rakiura), as additional shipping fees may apply.

Special order items

Special order items are items that are not currently in stock at our store but can be ordered in via our supplier network. These items are marked with "special order" on the item pages. We will require either a full payment or partial deposit (at Lazer Photos & Cameras' discretion) before we order in your special order item. Please note that cancelled special order items are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee.

The lead time for special order items can vary depending on the availability of stock with our supplier, and may be subject to change due to shipping delays, public holidays, etc. We will contact you after you place the order with an estimated timeframe, but we encourage you to contact us prior to ordering if you are needing items by a certain date. Please note that special orders may have an extended lead time over Christmas & New Year as our suppliers close for extended dates over this period. We will not be liable for any loss by the customer if we are not able to deliver the item, or if there are delays in delivering the item.

Returns

Lazer Photos & Cameras are not required to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a purchase.

If your product has arrived faulty and/or damaged on delivery, please notify us immediately.

Uncollected jobs

We have limited space available on-site, so please ensure you collect your jobs promptly on completion, and that you provide us with accurate and up-to-date contact details. When your job is completed, we will do our best to make contact via the contact details you provided to us (if any).

For all jobs (excluding film processing), including but not limited to photo prints, giftware, and restorations: if we cannot make contact with you, and/or if you do not collect your job once completed, we reserve the right to dispose of the contents of your job after one year of the job's completion date, unless specified otherwise.

For film processing jobs: if we cannot make contact with you, and/or if you do not collect your job once completed, we reserve the right to dispose of uncollected film negatives (and any associated photo prints) one month after the job's completion date, unless specified otherwise. If you had indicated to us (either in-store or on our order form) that you did not wish to collect your film negatives upon completion, we will immediately proceed with negative disposal once your job is completed.

Consumer Guarantees Act

We will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).
