*Additional printed sheets are $5.00/ea. The number of photos included per sheet will vary depending on the size of the passport photo you need. Only one format of photo per set. See FAQ below for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all passport photos the same?

Every country has a set of very specific requirements for their passport photos. Passport photos can vary by photo size (dimensions and/or file size), background colour, clothing and hair requirements, and more. It is important that you review these requirements before having your photo taken, and that you inform our staff of the country that you're needing photos for.

How should I prepare for a passport photo?

We suggest avoiding wearing white or grey tops. Some countries have strict requirements for hair, so we recommend tying back your hair so that your ears are visible, and that no hair is covering your eyes or eyebrows. Avoid wearing large earrings. Per requirements, we are not allowed to digitally alter or retouch your passport photo, so please do not be offended if our staff asks you to adjust your hair or attire - they just want you to avoid any hassle with potential photo rejections.

Can I wear glasses for my photo?

New Zealand generally allows for prescription glasses in passport photos, unless they are tinted or thick-rimmed. Some other countries do not. If you let us know what country you are needing a photo for we can check for you.

How do I prepare my baby/toddler for a passport photo?

Our team are patient and more than happy to photograph babies. But we do ask that you prepare before coming in order to make the process quicker and less stressful for your little one. Ensure that they are wide awake (and not sleeping), and remove any bibs, beanies or hats. It may also help to feed the baby beforehand.

How many printed copies of my photo will you provide?

The number of photos provided depends on the size of the required photo. We supply a minimum of 2 photos. We can provide extra photos for an additional fee ($5 per sheet).

Here are some indications of how many photos you will receive per sheet:

• 35x45mm - 8 photos (NZ, Australia, & most other countries)

• 33x48mm - 4 photos (China)

• 40x60mm - 4 photos (Cambodia, Vietnam)

• 50x70mm - 2 photos (Canada)

• 51x51mm - 2 photos (USA, India/OCI)

Can you take RealMe photos?

Unfortunately, we cannot take RealMe photos at this stage. Visit your nearest AA centre for your RealMe photos.
