A 121-point autofocus system combining contrast and phase detection keeps subjects sharp across the frame, with AI-based subject tracking that recognises human and animal eyes even when the camera is turned on the photographer themselves. Continuous-servo, single-servo, manual focus and dedicated tracking modes cover everything from portraits to fast-moving action, while focus peaking and magnification make manual, cinema-style focusing straightforward when it's preferred over autofocus.

4K Video with Log Recording

The PEN records crystal-clear 4K video at up to 24fps or ultra-slow motion at 120fps, and can shoot in OM-Log400 with 4:2:2 8-bit colour for footage that holds up to serious colour grading with minimal banding or artefacts. An external microphone can be connected via the 3.5mm port for clean 24-bit audio recorded straight in-camera, and a simple USB-C connection turns the PEN into a webcam for sharper video calls, livestreams and other online content.

Vari-Angle Touchscreen and OLED Viewfinder

A 3 inch vari-angle touchscreen LCD with 1.04 million dots makes framing easy from high, low or forward-facing angles, while a 2.36 million dot OLED electronic viewfinder gives a bright, detailed view for eye-level shooting in any light.
