With improved features that expand upon its content-creation-focused predecessor, the Sony ZV-E10 II is outfitted with a 26MP APS-C sensor for faster performance and high-quality imagery in a compact form factor designed for vloggers. This aligns the ZV-E10 II with tried and true models such as the FX30 and the a6700. Built-in creative shooting modes, a 3-capsule directional microphone, and a 3" articulating LCD touchscreen with vertical orientation support and integrated tally light make for a powerful multi-purpose vlogging device. Other notable upgrades with the ZV-E10 II include a 759-point phase detection autofocus system, Cinematic Vlog mode, an AI processing unit, and compatibility with larger-capacity NP-FZ100 batteries.
The ZV-E10 II features Sony's most advanced sensor technology in an APS-C back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor. With approx. 26.0-megapixel resolution, it allows high quality image capture with greater sensitivity and less noise, even in low light settings.
The Creative Look function makes it easy to create expressive moods for stills and movies right in the camera. 10 Creative Looks are provided as presets that can be used as they are or customised via a range of adjustable parameters.
From the G Master™ series that blends breathtaking resolution with exquisite bokeh to the G Lens™ series with first-class image quality, the ZV-E10 II is compatible with a wide range of E-mount lenses from Sony. The ZV-E10 II lens kit comes with the versatile E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II.
The latest BIONZ XR image processing engine and optimised algorithms produce notably improved AF performance. A high-density array of 759 focal plane phase detection AF points (when shooting stills, depending on shooting mode) covers almost the entire image area to ensure smooth, precise focus.
An advanced 3-capsule microphone offers excellent pickup and noise reduction performance, making it easier than ever to record clear, high-quality audio. Select Auto or choose from Front, Rear, or All Directions settings to match a variety of recording situations and environments.
The ZV-E10 II is supplied with a simple windscreen to significantly reduce noise when shooting in outdoor situations. For more versatile audio capture, digital audio interfaces are supported by the camera's Multi Interface (Ml) Shoe, enabling direct transfer of high-quality digital audio with minimal degradation to the camera from microphones, such as the optional ECM series.
The ZV-E10 II supports a range of recording formats including 10-bit 4:2:2 video and All-Intra compression at up to 4K 60p (integer) resolutions. For professional workflows, User LUT files can be imported to record the desired look directly in camera, enabling efficient and predictable post-production in software like Catalyst Browse, Catalyst Prepare / Plugin and Master Cut.
A vari-angle LCD monitor facilitates shooting from just about any angle. Swiping in from the left or right edge of the shooting display reveals touch icons that allow quick changes to the shooting mode and more. The function (Fn) menu can be displayed by swiping up on the monitor.
The ZV-E10 II measures just 67.5 mm high by 114.8 mm wide by 54.2 mm deep with a body that weighs just 292 grams approx. — a remarkable achievement for a camera that uses a high-capacity NP-FZ100 battery. Hold and feel are enhanced by a specially shaped and textured grip. An optional Shooting Grip with Wireless Remote Commander (GP-VPT2BT) includes zoom and shooting controls that are easy to use when shooting one-handed, and can also be used as a tripod, leaving both hands free for product reviews or shooting from a distance.
